The Eyguebelle Almond Syrup is the ultimate refreshing drink in summer. The Almond Artisan Syrup is usually drunk with fresh water, but it also blends very well with Pastis AElred to make it a well-known aperitif in Provence : the "Mauresque". You can also use this syrup for other cocktail recipes such as Mai Tai or as a topping on your desserts. This syrup takes its name from a drink once made with barley, almond and orange blossom. Nowadays, barley is no longer part of the drink’s composition, but the name has remained.
